Daily Update

Pain level - Mild

•  Started reading Draw Down the Moon, by P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast, 1st book in the Moonstruck duology (though only this book has been released so far). I'm not very far into it, but so far it's not too bad, and it's holding my interest well enough, so I'll stick with it and see where it all leads. I stopped reading the House of Night books ages ago because I burned out on them and there was so much literary retreading in that series that I quickly learned to gloss over entire pages because they were just spent describing characters and their personality traits that readers would definitely be familiar with by, oh, say, book 5. It grew dull. But I have hopes that this won't end up the same way, as it's just a duology. Not much time to grow stale.
• Honestly, mostly just stayed in bed a lot today, watching TV and reading on-and-off. Maybe that's why my pain is so comparably mild? Please don't tell me I have to be largely bedbound to escape pain. I really don't want that.
